TAXI: Independent Taxi Company: 1-877-800-9498 Yellow cab: 1-888-529-3556 Hotel Details A block of rooms has been reserved at a local hotel that grants us a discounted rate ($134) and is located less than a mile from ICT.  You will be required to provide a credit card when making your reservation.  To get the reduced rate, please call the reservation number below and state you are attending a USC-ICT event. Please note that cancelling your room reservation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in will result in a one-night charge to your credit card. Reimbursable expenses are limited to direct travel to and from LA, local transportation, and meals (we will provide meals during the meeting); Reservations and bookings are the responsibility of each attendee. First class airfare and alcohol will not be reimbursed. The total reimbursement (travel and airfare) should not exceed $1,200 for international travel, $900 for travelers outside of LA (Please let us know ASAP if you cannot stay within these limits) Original receipts must be provided in order to receive reimbursement. International travelers must adhere to the Fly America Act. The Act requires that either a US Flagship carrier be used or a foreign carrier that code shares with a US Flagship carrier.  To properly ticket a code share carrier, the ticket must be issued using the US Flagship's flight number and validated by the US Flagship carrier. Although some foreign carriers may offer cheaper fares and more direct routes, the U.S. government does not consider these valid exceptions . Transportation Our designated conference hotel, the Marina del Rey Hotel, provides complimentary shuttle service to and from LAX at the top of every hour. The Marina del Rey Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the meeting location.
